Economics of Art and Culture

This semester, the course is provided by Dr. Aleksandra Wiśniewska.

The purpose of the course is to provide an introduction into the basics of cultural economics – one of the younger disciplines in economics – as well as to give students the possibility to apply the concepts and tools learned at obligatory courses in the context of arts and culture. The presentation of current state of knowledge will include the indication of subjects worth developing in bachelor or master thesis.

As part of this course, I also organize meetings with cultural practitioners aimed at facilitating contact between scholars, students and the job market:
